The villa was the summer residence of the noble Veronese family Quaranta and was constructed between 1639 and 1653. The facade is simple and elegant with windows embellished with carved frames, and the interior is adorned with an array of spectacular fresco paintings and a magnificent marble staircase. The property boasts a chapel which is dedicated to the Virgin Mary and is decorated in the Romantic tradition. It boasts intricate frescoes by Jacopo Ligozzi and the interior walls depict scenes from the New Testament.
